Mahmoodur Rahman
MD, MPH, MDS
Mahmoodur has a versatile experience of working in healthcare data science, and public health research. He is a physician with a Master of Public Health (Epidemiology), and a Master of Data Science. His clinical knowledge, strong grip on epidemiology, and data science skills makes him an efficient healthcare data analyst. Currently, he is responsible for providing insight on Stroke care in the province of British Columbia, Canada. Among many datasets addressing Stroke services, notably he analyzes DAD and NACRS. Mahmoodur works closely with regional health authorities, as well the MoH, and thrives to establish standard provincial methodologies and benchmarks. Stroke Services BC also leads the provincial Stroke registry. Mahmoodur is working to ensure optimum data quality and also creation of dashboard to show KPIs. As a data scientist Mahmoodur is fluent in R, Python and SQL. He also has extensive experience in public health research, particularly in Maternal and Newborn health.
