I am a Clinician-Scientist, clinical epidemiologist and rheumatologist with expertise in measurement sciences and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), and an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Rheumatology at the University of Toronto and a staff physician at Toronto Western Hospital. My research is focused on measurement science with specific interest in the assessment of disease activity and development of new measures, interpretation of patient-reported outcomes including health-related quality of life and assessment of cognitive function in SLE. In my ongoing work in cognitive function in SLE, my team is using machine learning analysis alongside augmented intelligence approach for data integration to conduct Similarity Network Fusion for the identification of clinical phenotypes of cognitive impairment in SLE patients.
