Dr. Michael Elfassy is a Resident Physician in the Cardiology Residency Program at the University of Toronto. He completed his MD and Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Toronto as well as an MSc in Global Health at McMaster University. Dr. Elfassy has been involved in many leadership capacities throughout his medical training including his role as Co-Chair of the Accreditation Task Force in the Department of Medicine. His scholarly interests include health systems solutions, quality and innovation within cardiovascular care. He hopes to integrate artificial Intelligence into his work and collaborate with like-minded clinicians and scientists.
