Felix Leung

As a clinical biochemist, I work with massive amounts of data generated from our information system on a daily basis. Unfortunately, there is no universal standard for how utilize laboratory data (collection, extraction, analysis) so it is variable from institution to institution. T-CAIREM will likely be able to provide a platform for laboratorians to come together and share their experiences with laboratory informatics and even better, develop consensus/standardized approaches to utilizing the data. I hope to bring my own experience with laboratory informatics to T-CAIREM but as well, educate other health professionals on laboratory medicine and foster collaborations with other health disciplines.
