T-CAIREM Health Data Nexus now available to researchers & educators across Canada 🇨🇦

HDN national launch

Students, staff, faculty, and clinicians with any Canadian university or research institution partner with the T-CAIREM Network can now log in to the HDN with their single sign-on credentials.


About the Health Data Nexus

T-CAIREM’s Health Data Nexus (HDN) is a secure real-world dataset platform that enables learning and research in applied Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The secure real-world data environment is safe, scalable, and simple to use. Researchers and educators have used the HDN in datathons, graduate-level classes, and for medical research.

Available datasets 

The HDN currently has several datasets contributed by our data partners:
• GIM, a dataset for predicting patient deterioration in the General Internal Medicine ward (Unity Health Toronto)
• Fracture DetecWon on Cervical Spine CT (Unity Health Toronto)
• COVID-19 Hospital Demographic, Clinical and Outcome Dataset (Trillium Health Partners)
