Dr. Timur Latypov is a second-year Ph.D. student at the University of Toronto. He obtained his MD degree from the Kazan Federal University, Russia.
Dr. Latypov's research focuses on the artificial intelligence (AI) based approach to study chronic facial pain syndromes, the objective brain imaging signatures of pain, and the clinical factors determining the characteristics of pain perception on the individual level. He is particularly interested in developing the AI-assisted diagnostic tool and adapt it for use in clinical practice.
