Dr. Brokoslaw Laschowski is a computational neuroscientist. He works as a Research Scientist and Principal Investigator at the University Health Network—the largest research hospital in Canada—and as an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto, with appointments in Neuroscience and Mechanical Engineering. He also serves as the Director of the Computational Neuroscience Lab, a leading multidisciplinary research lab that explores the intersection of neuroscience and artificial intelligence. The long-term vision for his research is to reverse-engineer the human brain and discover the underlying mechanisms and computational principles that drive intelligence—from neurons, to circuits, to algorithms, to cognition and behaviour.
