I am a graduate student in the Campbell lab at the Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute. I joined Dr. Campbell’s team in 2020 I am dedicated to the molecular profiling of pancreatic cancer and the discovery of new therapeutic targets. I explore machine learning approaches to study heterogeneity in the tumor using multi-cohort single-cell RNA sequencing data from patients. I also bring together statistical modeling and neural networks for characterization and therapeutic target discovery in pancreatic cancer. T-CAIREM’s network across Toronto will greatly benefit my research. With resources from T-CAIREM I will be able to connect with other researchers to share insights and discuss method development, which can facilitate future collaboration project progress. The T-CAIREM data platform is another valuable asset. The datasets available on the platform may empower me to build robust data-driven models for integration into my research. I have built automated pipelines for pan-cohort data pooling and analysis. I will bring to the T-CAIREM community experience and skills for designing comprehensive workflows integrating multiple omics datasets and extracting molecular insights. Furthermore, I am also excited to share with the community our understanding and recently gained knowledge in pancreatic cancer.
