T-CAIREM & Technion-Israel Insitute of Technology forge international partnership

T-CAIREM and the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology
Researchers from T-CAIREM and the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology joined forces to develop future Ai in medicine collaborations in May 2023. The Catalyst Collaboration Workshop was held in Halifa, Israel.

Twenty faculty members and trainees from the University of Toronto’s Temerty Centre for AI Research and Education in Medicine (T-CAIREM) attended a three-day Catalyst Collaboration Workshop in Haifa, Israel, last month with counterparts from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology.
The workshop introduced researchers from both institutions to each other and tasked them with developing future collaborative projects.
Technion, ranked the number one university in Europe in Artificial Intelligence by CSRankings, recently became the first international university in the T-CAIREM Network for AI in Medicine, comprised of more than 20 partner universities and 90 research institutions and hospitals across Canada.
This Catalyst Collaboration Workshop was just the first joint initiative between the two institutions, with other projects such as student exchanges and educational seminars planned for the future.
