T-CAIREM hosts global ACAIM/PCAIM meeting for leading AI health centres

In June, T-CAIREM hosted a meeting for the Alliance for Centers of Artificial Intelligence Medicine  (ACAIM) and the Pediatric Centers of AI in Medicine (PCAIM) at the University of Toronto's Faculty Club. This consortium includes many of the world's leading AI health research centres, such as the Montreal Children’s Hospital, Hadassah University Hospital, Johns Hopkins, and the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen.

Several panel discussions held during the daylong event explored various aspects of AI in medicine ranging from the deployment of applied AI in clinical practice and the unique challenges faced by adult and paediatric AI, to several other issues of concern to clinicians and computer scientists working in this exciting field.
