On June 17, T-CAIREM held an Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Medicine symposium devoted to the impact of multimodal AI. Multimodal AI combines multiple types of data, such as medical imaging, electronic health records, biosensors, and others, to improve clinical practice and enable a broader understanding of a patient’s health.
The event's keynote speaker, Donny Cheung, leads the development of the Healthcare and Life Sciences AI product portfolio for Google Cloud, including generative AI applications such as Google’s MedLM. The hybrid event took place at the University of Toronto’s historic Hart House and was at full capacity.
