T-CAIREM held its first Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Medicine Conference. Students from several universities across Canada participated in poster and podium presentations.

The UofT’s “Introduction to Data Science for Biomedical Engineers” graduate class used the Health Data Nexus. This was the first time the online health data platform has been used in a classroom setting. Several T-CAIREM members made new friends and collaborators at the Technion Catalyst Workshop that was held in Israel.

T-CAIREM held its first AI in health datathon at the Google Cloud office in downtown Toronto. The datathon participants used public health data from the Health Data Nexus.
