Radiation Therapy

My interest in technology started at the University of Toronto at the DSCIL Entrepreneurship program 2015 where I cofounded a startup using Machine learning to identify malaria-infected cells in blood smear images. This opportunity opened my mind to the applications of technology and its impact on healthcare. I decided to pursue Radiation therapy where I then learned the vast imaging and treatment planning data present in my day-to-day clinical work. My goal is to be more adept in the use of AI in healthcare, specifically radiation therapy and medical imaging. As a daily user of medical technologies, I hope to be able to bring my expertise as a user to provide perspective as a health professional. I am continuously learning about AI in healthcare and I hope to be able to do so with T-CAIREM.
