I’m a data science generalist and researcher who thrives at the intersection of ideas, particularly interested in machine learning and biomedical engineering.

I pivoted into data during my MASc in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Toronto, researching machine learning in nanomedicine in the Frank Gu Lab. I studied Materials Engineering & Bioengineering for my undergraduate degree, also at UofT. In my project, I am applying machine learning to study polymer-protein interactions towards the aim of improving the clinical translation of next generation drug delivery systems.

Presently I am a summer intern on the Data & Intelligence team within Professional Services at Amazon Web Services. Here I am focused on natural language processing and deep learning at scale on the cloud.

I would like to join T-CAIREM for the learning and networking opportunities. I bring a combination of biomedical domain expertise, machine learning expertise, and industrial expertise in cloud computing and deploying production systems. Thank you for your consideration.
