As a trainee, joining T-CAIREM will provide me access to a community that will undoubtedly enrich my development as a data scientist. My research focuses on how to build and implement AI/computer-vision tools with the goal of improving cancer early detection rates and informing decision-making for clinical management. T-CAIREM will allow me to network with like-minded experts and complementary scientists and provide access to important learning and funding opportunities. My training in epidemiology allows me to contribute this specialized knowledge and skill set toward bridging the gap between medical research and real-world implementations. I am excited for the opportunity to join T-CAIREM and contribute to this growing community.
