I am a current University of Toronto resident doctor in ophthalmology. I completed my DPhil studying melanopsin, retinal physiology and circadian rhythms at the University of Oxford and completed my MSc studying addiction neuroscience at the University of Geneva.

I am interested in using AI to improve eye screening, as well as to improve diagnosis and outcome prediction in ophthalmology. Currently, I am working on a multi-disease retinal disease AI classifier, Retinographer, which received the Canadian Medical Association 2020 Joule Innovation Grant.

I hope to apply AI methodologies to improve understanding of novel disease processes, such as the effect of eye disease on the melanopsin and circadian system in humans.

I am actively seeking collaborators so please feel free to email me if you are interested!
