Harsukh Benipal is a 4th-year medical student at the University of Toronto. She has previously completed a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) from McMaster University with an Interdisciplinary Minor in Community Engagement. In addition, she has obtained a Master of Science in Health Research Methodology from McMaster University. In the summer of 2021, she was awarded the T-CAIREM summer studentship. As a T-CARIEM community member, she hopes to continue her learning of AI methods in medicine and connect with world leaders in AI and medicine. Her research interests include administrative provincial health data, quality improvement, and machine learning.
