I am a graduate student with Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Toronto Lung Transplant Program. Our research group works extensively on ex vivo lung perfusion which aims to rescue and assess marginally acceptable donor lungs after they are removed from the body. My research focus is data-driven donor lung diagnostics, and I am interested in using the lung perfusion data we have been collecting for the past 12 years to evaluate and predict outcomes of new donor lungs. Aside from machine learning, I also enjoy data analysis and visualization, as well as various topics in operational research (e.g. optimization, forecasting, budgeting) especially in the clinical field and in health economics. During my leisure time, I like to play piano, trivia, board games, talk to friends, and listen to audiobooks.
