Abbas Zavar

I have almost two decades of health-related professional experience as a health care professional in clinical practice and other various capacities: digital health, clinical decision support system, clinical data analysis, quality improvement and program management. I hold a Doctorate of Medicine as well as a Master in Public Health (MPH). I also have a Master's in Health Informatics from the University of Toronto, and currently, I am collaborating with that master's program as an adjunct lecturer. 

My great passion is improving clinical workflow and patient care through health informatics solutions, particularly data sciences, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, predictive analysis and developing Clinical Decision Support Systems (CDSS). Thus, I firmly believe T-CAIREM is the best environment that I will be able to share my expertise, as well as learn a lot about applying AI/ML and data science in healthcare settings. 

I would like to contribute to T-CAIREM as a volunteer position (researcher/advisor/consultant). The amalgamation of my related education and experience has provided me with a novel collection of skills and qualifications well suited for this collaboration. I bring with me advanced knowledge and extensive experience in clinical data sciences, business intelligence/analysis and clinical research from public and private healthcare settings.
