Travel Awards for Collaboration Catalyst Workshop in Haifa, Israel
T-CAIREM is partnering with the Technion Israel Institute of Technology to hold a Collaboration Catalyst workshop in Haifa, Israel from May 6 - 10, 2023.
T-CAIREM will arrange travel awards for up to 10 UofT faculty members and an accompanying trainee. The awards will include flights, food, and accommodations to attend the workshop and foster project collaborations with Technion researchers.
Technion-Israel Institute of Technology was ranked the number one university in Europe in the field of Artificial Intelligence by CSRankings.
Objectives
Selected UofT faculty members will participate in a workshop intended to devise joint project proposals with Technion researchers that have the potential to lead to advancements in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in medicine.
At the end of the workshop, participants will pitch their joint research proposals to a panel of experts. The winning project will receive a $50,000 (USD) research award.
