Hear from students who have attended our bootcamp previously!
Registration is now open for students in grades 10 to 12 to join T-CAIREM's Healthcare of the Future Bootcamp: Introducing AI to Tomorrow's Doctors, Nurses, and Coders!
Learn how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is changing healthcare and get some hands-on training in this exciting new field from University of Toronto medical students. The Bootcamp consists of interactive workshops and dedicated group work from Monday to Thursday, with final presentations on Friday.
As a reminder, this bootcamp will be taking place in-person. However, there is also a virtual option for students to enroll. The bootcamp will run for five (5) days from Monday, July 13 to Friday, July 17, 2026. Please be sure you can attend all five days before applying.

FORMAT: 100% In-person or 100% Virtual
COST: $875 + tax for the IN-PERSON program and $725 + tax for the VIRTUAL program
PREREQUISITES: Although coding skills are not necessary, they can be helpful prior to the program, as we will be teaching students how to develop machine learning models.

"I learnt a lot of things about AI, the different types, the models and so on and it was pretty fun for me because it was all new to me and I made new friends, aka my group mates. My main key takeaways were how AI models work and how challenging it is to really implement a working AI system into healthcare as there are many processes required. And personally, the bootcamp raised my interest and curiosity in learning more of AI and its progression."
—Elvis N.
"I really enjoyed the fun games and interactive components that Gemma and Anglin did before each lesson, which was a great refresher and warm-up for me to start a new topic every day. I liked the group project we did together, because of how my group was a really amazing group, and we worked together really well. I liked how the AI project was open to everyone, so we could be more creative in our solutions. I learned about a new career of a clinical scientist, and gained lots of advice and knowledge from the leads in this bootcamp, especially Gemma, Anglin, and Ariana."
