Infrastructure

Data infrastructure is a core pillar of Artificial Intelligence (AI). In collaboration with our partners, CAIREM is establishing a dedicated data environment to facilitate a wide body of research and education initiatives. We are in the process of acquiring a variety of data sets and computing power to share with our members. 

Large, well-curated datasets of sensitive healthcare data are the very foundation of AI research. And because of this, the data require special precautions. Our Infrastructure team will enable the creation of ground-breaking AI applications by developing a safe, scalable and secure data environment. 

We use strong encryption and appropriate data stewardship to enforce the highest standards of patient privacy. In addition, we strive to provide a transparent, inclusive, and speedy process for granting access that empowers users from diverse disciplines to use the collected data for the public good.  

Since research and education are dynamic fields with rapidly evolving tools, data types, methodologies and innovations, our team is committed to creating an agnostic and scalable environment which will be able to support a range of research activities.
